To undertake, organize and facilitate studies,
symposia, lectures and research on comparative basis in the areas
of art, culture and traditional lifestyles of Islamic population
in other parts of the globe and spread knowledge, create awareness
and appreciation amongst the people of India as a whole.
To
promote economic, educational, cultural and social advancement of
the Muslim community in India, so that they, with their fellow countrymen,
contribute effectively in making India an integrated, progressive
and tolerant Society.
To
undertake and promote the publication of newsletters, journals,
books and research papers for the exposition of cultural patterns
and values prevailing in different parts of the world.
To
establish and maintain a cell of Information Technology, a well
stocked Library and Research Center to promote the objectives of
the IICC.
To
cooperate and interact with other institution and interested bodies
for the purpose of promoting understanding amongst the people of
different cultures in India and abroad.
